Its a shame that the stock analysts don't get it. Of course what we see hasn't occured yet. But this only deals with part of Informix's problems. The IIUG is helping Informix deal with some other issues by being an advocacy group, kinda like a poor man's sounding board. When Informix gets their sales teams organized, and better marketing, things will come around. A few years ago, I talked with the Prudential analyst covering Informix. (He's since left and Prudential doesn't cover this area of tech stocks.) His concern at the time wasn't the technology, but the sales side. I think that Mr. Finocchio is addressing that issue.
