This will save you a lot of time :-)) Possibly the Informix environment variables are not set properly. Try to set the environment variables INFORMIXSERVER and INFORMIXDIR directly inside your CGI-script. Maybe the user-id your web-server is using is unknown to the Informix server. Try to log all informations from your ESQL/C application to an additional log file. Bye Stefan Weideneder
