Esql 7.21+ supports multi-threaded applications. A task can have multiple connections managed by separate threads and a connection can even be passed between threads by suspending the session in the current thread and having another thread re-enable it. So long as no two threads try to access the same session concurrently no problem. Your system has to have the right OS thread patches (see release notes) and the application must be compiled with the esql '-thread' flag. Art S. Kagel
