Cute, Billy. Actually my response is totally off-topic, but your mention of Larry Ellison gives me a chance to tell my Larry Ellison story. Around 1990, I went to an Oracle Worldwide User' conference in Anaheim. Real big affair..about 10,000 people. Oracle even rented Disneyland for a night for the party. Anyway, they had this huge internal e-mail system for the conference, with about 1000 terminals spread out throughout the convention center. Everybody was sending beaucoups of e-mail setting up meetings etc. Anyway, during Larry Ellison's keynote, he apologized for having missed a previous conference. Claimed that he had flown out but gotten sick from the airline food. I was attending as DBA for the airline catering company that catered his airline and couldn't resist posting an e-mail to Larry, with cc's to the rest of the 10,000: "Larry, sorry to hear about your airline food mishap. You may or may not realize that your airline caterer used Oracle....right now we're waiting on your next release to solve some problems...we've had lots of experience with your support." "One of two things happened. Either, 1) Our new QA system is waiting on a working Oracle version or 2) Damn, we missed, you're still alive". -- --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Joe Lumbley(jlumbley@netcom.com) ---------------------------------------------------------------------------
