Trigger a rowid

Hi, TableA col1 col2 TableB tabA_rowid col1 col2 I have a insert trigger on TableA which inserts into TableB. My problem: I want to insert the rowid for the new row (in tableA) into the tabA_rowid column in TableB via my insert trigger. Informix does not like this. Has anyone tried something like this before? Thanks,
