SQL Warehousing Tool on Virtual Server

Hi. Has anyone successfully run the server component of Informix SQL Warehouse Tool on a virtual server? I see in the notes that the Informix SQL Warehousing Tool is not officially supported on virtual machine operating systems. We have an Informix 11.7 installation on Red Hat Linux V5.5, but the server component of the Informix SQL Warehouse Tool only runs on RHEL V5.2. I was considering the option of installing the Warehousing Tool server components on a virtual RHEL V5.2 server. Just wanted to know of any pitfalls in advance. Regards, Brendon.
