I have now worked with Informix SE, Turbo, On-Line from version 1 (aaagh) through to 5 (I know it's old, but I'm old fashioned) and I would tend to agree with the comment "BUNK". I would really like you to show us how this is done. I must admit if you can prove that you can run SE on a "raw" file-system I will be impressed. However, "raw" file-system is a contradiction of terms, so how have you interpreted this statement? A raw partition/slice does not have a file-system on it, it is, well, RAW disk.
