Tape Subsystem Questions

Hello Informixers: I have a question regarding 8mm tape subsystems. I have several RS/6000s and a 30gb Informix database on one of them. I am looking at an Exabyte model EXB-210. This system is capable of having one or two drives. There is also various software packages available to control the operation of the subsystem. My question is what software is necessary and how does Informix handle archive operations with such a system? I would also like any suggestions of solutions any of you have been able to implement.
