We have 2 databases in an instance with sysnonyms for tables between
them.
I wanted to test if the Informix instance would load if the chunk
where a table with a sysnonym was was "down"....

Do an ontape
Stop the engine
Break a link to one of the chunks, ideally not rootdbs :-))
Start the engine
See what happens
