Informix Training for New DBA's I will be teaching our Informix IDS course for database administrators on September 18-21, 2006. We have had several requests for this course but still have a couple of spaces left. This is a hands on course, each student will be working with Informix IDS 10 on a Linux workstation covering everything from install, configuration, basic tuning, backup and restore and database development. Our courses are held at our training center in Annandale, VA, 20 minutes from Washington DC. Course - Informix IDS for Database Administrators - September 18-21, 2006 This course is for new database administrators, programmers, and technical support personnel who will be setting up, managing, and tuning IBM Informix IDS 10.X, 9.X or 7.X databases. Currently, Lester specializes in developing web-enabled data warehouse systems. He provides training and consulting in database design and performance tuning. Area Informix User Group, one of the largest and most active Informix user groups, and is one of the founding members of the International Informix Users Group.
