I upgraded a server from 7.31.FD7 to 9.40.FC5, started the application, which connected ok, basic tasks worked except for anything involving a stored procedure. I thought lets run update statistics for procedure and see if that clears the problem (whatever it is) but dostats is taking 66-72 seconds for each SP. Does anyone know what is going on? Are you using 'SPECIFIC' in the statements? If so, I think there's a bug that means something along the lines of 'it updates statistics on all procedures'. Google is your friend - as is TinyURL: http://tinyurl.com/c9gqz (That's a bit more succinct than the 276 character URL to which it refers). -- Jonathan Leffler #include <disclaimer.h> Email: jleffler@earthlink.net, jleffler@us.ibm.com Guardian of DBD::Informix v2005.02 -- http://dbi.perl.org/
