Translating with DrWatson… this can take a few seconds the first time.
This is a genuine, complex translation. DrWatson protects commands, error codes, and log output while naturally translating the surrounding text. It’s translated once and saved.

I'm writing a Java application using JDBC vs. IDS 7.23/7.30. I'm trying
to insert a string of user input into a column of type varchar(255), but
keep getting back error message # 282: "Found a quote for which there
is no matching quote." -- I assume because of the embedded carriage
returns in the input string.
Has anybody else experienced this problem? What am I missing here? or
is there a workaround?
