HPL Jobs

Hi all, I've reading about HPL features, but I didn't find how to stop a job. Is it posible? thanks in advance
HPL will automatically stop after finish. If you want to stop running job,
just use "ps" command to view pid of onpload process then kill master pid.
But sometime it doesnot clean semaphore correctly.

You can look for the HPL processes (onpload) and then kill -15 them. Be
aware that there is a flag on the job in the onpload database indicating
that the job is running. You can manually reset that (I forget where it is
though) or just 'connect' to the job through the ipload interface, that will
pause for a minute or so while it attempts to connect to the running job,
when it finds that it cannot, it will reset the flag.

the flag is keep by column name "status" in table "session" on your
DBONPLOAD db.
For running job status='C'. after kill onpload process, if status is not
clear, you can manual update it by following sql:
update session set status='' where jobname='<your job>' ;or
update session set status=null where jobname='<your job>' ;
