How to check a Non vanilla Index
Posted in 2009
IDS version: 9.40 FC4
OS: Sun Solaris 9
Index schema
create index "informix".messagequeue_ix4 on "informix".messagequeue
(singleton,type,channel) using btree in efdbefs2009idx2dbs ;
Fields: singleton "informix".boolean default 'f' not null
type varchar(10)
channel varchar(255) not null
Prelude: The instance crashed today morning complaining that this index
was corrupt.
When I run a oncheck -cIDn on the table, I get the below comments for
this index.
Index messagequeue_ix3
Index fragment in DBspace efdbefs2009idx2dbs
Index messagequeue_ix3: Non vanilla index. data
crosschecking not enabled
Any idea on how to check this index or did it actually check the index
and it is just an output message.
Your help or suggestion is appreciated.
Thank you,
Kannan
