Re: What do I need to do in order to connect client apps to the Informix database??

I'm using I-Net 5.01 (on Windows 3.x, 95, & NT 4.0) to connect to Informix 5.x and 7.x server. I ran into problems in 95 which I found was due to duplicate winsocks. I ran into problems in NT which I fixed by duplicating my HOSTS and SERVICES files (in /winnt/system32/drivers/etc AND /windows) and duplicating the Informix.ini file (in /winnt and /windows) And of course make sure the hosts file on the server is good. Anyway, I can confirm I-Net 5.01 works on all three platforms. BTW, my 16-bit ODBC works fine once I-Net is good. Good Luck Steve.
