This utility will probably do what you want for input. I am not familiar with the "group insert" terminology, so I can't help you with that one. Perhaps you mean how many inserts to COMMIT at one time? If that is what you mean, then DBLOAD has a parameter to adjust the number of row COMITted at one time. "Group retrieval" sounds like a CURSOR in 4GL or ESQL/C, or the standard mode of processing in ISQL. Otherwise, I am not sure what you mean by this.
