Stored Procedure Problem

Hi all, I wanna create a stored procedure in informix which, by default, would first check if there is already a stored procedure exist in the system. If yes, drop it and create a new one with the same name. By informix tell me i can't drop the procedure in the same stored procedure. How can i handle it? I should specifically create another stored procedure doing the drop function, shouldn't i? Stupid, isn't it? Thanx!
