ODBC Drivers for OLD Informix Database

Are there ODBC drivers for and OLD version of Informix SE (I think it is version 2 something). I have seen drivers that work with version 5+, and I assume this is the first version of the SE line that supports ODBC connectivity. Now I think about it, I guess ODBC did not even exist when this version of the database came out. Just want to make sure from someone more knowledgeable than myself. Thanks in advance for response!
