No. Not these.

This "problem" all but dissapeared when Art S. Kagel came out with his
dostats program. After that there aren't many problems related to
update statistics any more. We just run it regularly and the enginehums along.
Check out http://www.iiug.org/software/software_index.html
and find utils2_ak, download and compile. It's great.
One day it will probably be included with the distribution of the
engines from Informix - just another prediction.

Well, the documentation on update statistics may not be the greatest
there is. However the information available here on c.d.i. have
clarified most things.
