Informix has announced OnLine v7.2 which will ship before year-end that is 64-bit capable on platforms that support 64-bit processors, like the DEC Alpha (are there any others yet?). In fact, Informix released the results of a benchmark, that Oracle had published to tout the VLM product, with a 700% improvement over their results. -- Mark Sigler Client Services Engineer Informix Software, Inc. --
