Progress has no analog of INPUT ARRAY, nothing even close. I'd like some changes to the syntax but basically there are very few things you can't do with it. Cancelling an INSERT or DELETE are the 2 most glaring omissions, IMO. Try living without it then your opinion may change. I think its useability is excellent. (Still, after 6 years, haven't worked out how SCROLL works, though). Peter Wiley
