Informix Enterprise Replication

Hi Everybody, One of my cleint wants to syncronize the data in two servers which are at different locations and both the servers should be online so that users can use the servers. I have suggested them to have enterprise replication done on these two servers. They want to go for the new version of informix to do the same as currently they are running 5.01.UD2. Can anybody please tell me whether the enterprise replication work with workgroup edition of IDS 9.x or we have to go for enterprise edition.
