** Extent limit reached, please help !! **

Online Version 5.07.UC1 We have a "large" (> 12Gb) table, it has reached it's maximum number of extents and we can't add records. We could unload the data, recreate the table with larger extents and reload, but we are a 24 hour operation and this would take forever. Is there any quick fix we can apply, which would get us through the next few weeks? Potential responders, please reply to my email address as well as the Newsgroup. Thank You.
