There is no fate but what we make ourselves. -- Bye now, Obnoxio "There were a myriad of problems which conspired to corrupt your reason and rob you of your common sense. Fear got the best of you, and in your panic you turned to the Labour Party. They promised you order, they promised you peace, and all they demanded in return was your silent, obedient consent."

There isn't much active development of the product - but it is still available. If it is not available on a particular platform that you need it on, you might have to make a business case for us putting it where you need it. But it exists and is as stable a product as you could hope to come across. -=JL=-
SE could have had MySQL's market share if not for some very short-sighted decision-makers. They decided they wanted today's dime instead of a chance for tomorrow's dollar. As I see it Standard Engine would have needed a lot of development to bring it up to the standards that MySQL is able to set today. Since IBM finds it hard to - as it sees it - disregard analyst's advice and maintain two rather than one database product, cold it really have justice to three? I think not.
