informix dot net data provider

Hi, did anyone here successfully use C# to connect to an informix? I tried to connect to an Informix 9.31 on Linux but I always get this message. error: IBM.Data.Informix.IfxException: ERROR [HY000] [Informix .NET provider][Informix] Server informixsrv is not listed as a dbserver name in sqlhosts. connection string: Host=PC_LINUX;Service=1526;Server=informixsrv;User ID=xxx;password=informix;Database=mydb The following line is found in sqlhosts on the informix server machine: informixsrv onsoctcp PC_LINUX sqlexec I can connect using 'informixsrv' through jdbc. Any help appreciated, regards Michael
