I need to use verify joins as attributes in several fields of a table
where the fields MAY have the same value entered, but that value MUST be
among the entries in the referenced (joined) table.
When I try to do this, the compiler complains:
#
# The column "xxxxxxxxx" name appears more than once. If you
# wish a column to be duplicated in a form, use the same display field label.
# See error number -2892.
I don't want the column to be duplicated, only the "value" in the column(s).
The columns with like values are entered at different times and are used
for maintaining a history of status changes of the record, saved in the
table, itself.
Any suggestions for fixing this or alternatives would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Jim
