Hi, If I have a large box, lots of physical CPUs in the server, the client application run in another box, connected trhough TCPIP, I want to set environment PSORT_NPROCS, Is it being set in client or server side ?
You set it on the server side, start Online and the db engine will make use of it. Client side also. If a client sets the PSORT_NPROCS it will override the server's setting for that client's sessions. Art Art S. Hi, Have a look at performance guide, you will see the use of PSORT_NPROCS. It is not intended to be used at client side. Check the Guide to SQL Reference to see that it is also client side.
