Customers complained about the binder-type manuals because they took too much room on the shelf, were too difficult to lug around, and they didn't like assembing the manuals themselves. I can see the advantages of the older manuals, but I do not mind the new ones. The new manuals have have helped us get products to customers more efficiently in less time with lower cost. It was a MAJOR improvement for our manufacturing operation. Manuals and software now fit nicely into one package. I'm looking at my bookshelf now, and all software manuals on it are the paperback type, except older Informix manuals. (There even used to be one manual from one of our competitors whose name began with the letter "O" that was also a paperback.) -- =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Randall Rhea Informix Software, Inc.
