Automate Informix Install & Configuration

Does/has anyone been able to succesfully automate the installation & configuration of an Informix engine on any OS??? Also, does anyone know of any third party which would provide a solution to such a problem?? Here's hoping that someone out there can help!

What version? Pre 9 is starightforward, 9 is a pain 'cos you to do part of it as root and part as informix.
