Nice configuration, but how do you plan to use 4 machines (and those 4GB on a 12 processor box does not sound like that much)? What are the clients? Consider throwing in a handfull of middle-layer machines running application servers and glue everything together with a good middleware (that more or less means BEA Tuxedo - see TPC numbers - but perhaps IBM TX series a.k.a.
