We are about to install a voice responce system that will run completely offline. We will export the relevant data regularly to this system and get flat files back that are loaded into our database. This system is bought from another company and I am sorry I don't know which one it is. It run's under MS DOS on a PC but is also available to run under SCO Unix. Any deasant SCO VAR should know about what products are available. Otherwise you can buy any reasant issue of Visual Basic Programmers Journal. Lately there has been several voice responce systems advertised. As far as I know these can connect directly to your database. You must be aware of responce time problems and database availability (7 x 24 databases are more difficult to administer). That's why we run an offline system. We may go online at some later time.
