JOB: Technical Trainers - NeXT Computer

NeXT Computer, Inc. is looking for technical trainers to teach NeXT customers about the NEXTSTEP / OpenStep object-oriented development environment, focused on Enterprise Objects Framework, NeXT's framework used to access database information from applications. Positions are available in Redwood City, California; Chicago, Illinois; and Washington, DC. Trainers will develop and deliver courses on a variety of development topics in one of three formats: open enrollment in NeXT training facilities; on-site at customer sites; and customized as part of long-term education packages deployed at customer sites. Travel to NeXT training facilities and customer sites is required. Candidates for the positions will have: - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, or Physics, or related fields. - Two to five years software development experience with C, C++, or Smalltalk. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Excellent listening skills. - Experience developing database applications for a relational database such as Sybase, Oracle, or Informix. - Experience with SQL. Senior training candidate will also have one or more of the following: - Development experience with the NEXTSTEP environment. - Development experience with NeXT's Enterprise Objects Framework or Database Kit. - Previous training and curriculum development experience.
