We use Business Objects from the Macintosh to access Oracle databases, and are very happy with it, but we would really like to be able to use it to access our Informix databases. The orginal reason Business Objects (the company) gave for the inability to access Informix was the lack of I-Net for the Mac. Now that I-Net is available they say (and I can believe it) that there is not enough demand to make business sense to provide the port. Maybe if Russel Day's client has enough Macs he could persuade Business Objects to take the plunge.
