If you want what you say, a way to use the ODBC api in programs you write on Solaris (using C or other languages), Visigenic has this, and as I understand it also Openlink and possibly others. If you simply want to connect from a PC running Windows to this database using ODBC, there are any number of suppliers (Openlink, Visigenics, Intersolv, Visionware, Informix and others).
