25507 launching sqlexecd SCO OS5 SE 7.22.UC2

Hi, I am receiving the following error when attempting to launch sqlexecd on Informix 7.22UC2. daemon err = 25507: The specified service name or protocol is unknown. INFORMIXDIR/etc/sqlhosts entry is: busobj sesoctcp develop se_tcp /etc/services entry is: se_tcp 1526/tcp # Informix /etc/inetd.conf entry is: se_tcp stream tcp nowait root /usr/informix/lib/sqlexecd OS is SCO Openserver 3.2v5.0.5 When I check the port number (1526) from a client PC I get a response. This works fine for AIX and Linux! Can anyone help? Paul
