Based on these three things, you can determine if its your application, the Online engine which is causing the problems? Your implementation of the engine is causing the problems, or if the engine itself actually has a bug. (Now we all know that Informix is a perfect product right? ;-) #3 really says that if we have this problem and we can live with it, then its ok. But if we can't and informix can't deal with it then lets go to Dbase or Fox Pro or a phlat file..... -Mikey
