client troubles

Anyone an idea about error : 956: Client host or user <user@host> is not trusted by the server. ??? I try to connect from a perl script to the server and I'm logged as DBA. I edited /etc/sqlhosts about ten times and a couple of others in /etc too. It' s 7.20 on Solaris. Thanks Peter
