Problem with a dates

Hi I am trying to import some data from an Informix database into a SQL 7
Database server, I currently import the data into an Excel spreadsheet using
the following query in VB:-
Select *
FROM root.dagent dagent
WHERE (dagent.acd='2') AND (dagent.row_date>{d '20040623'} And
dagent.row_date<{d '20040625'})
Order By ti_auxtime desc
This works fine and I have had no problems with it for about 8 moths now.
I have started the import wizard in Enterprise Manager so I can import the
data from the Informix server but I get "Unexpected Error" when I try to run
the query, If I take out the data part from the where clause all works fine,
but as I am pulling the data over a WAN it's too much and takes to long.
Any Ideas on how I can get the date part to work?
Cheers
Mark

What's the Informix datatype of the row_date column? That will determine the
valid date string format.
