Hi, We are running IDS-10.00.FC6 in HP-UX11.11. We have issue with backup device. Is there anyway to stop the running logical log backup thread? Is it safe to kill the Unix backup process?
Yes, you could kill the onbar/ontape unix process, without problem.
The backup log will only issue a "client aborted process" kind of
message, then
you could fix and start it again, ok?
Regards.
