Normally apache only passes on a specific set of environment variables to cgi programs, so if you want it to pass on more than that you have to do some additional configuration. First, setup those environment variables. Then, add a PassEnv directive to your srm.conf file for each variable you want passed on, and finally restart apache. You only need specify the environment variable name to Pass it along: PassEnv INFORMIXDIR PassEnv INFORMIXSERVER PassEnv LD_LIBRARY_PATH Alternatively, you can use the SetEnv directive: SetEnv INFORMIXDIR /usr/informix SetEnv INFORMIXSERVER ds730babylon5 SetEnv LD_LIBRARY_PATH /usr/informix/lib:/usr/informix/lib/esql Rob Z.
