There goes the message...and after that, the system hung, we onmode -ky,
and today i could not even shut down like that..when typed onmode -ky, the
prompt did not return...we had to shutdown Unix and pray for the reload be
OK, which happened.

I guess i will upgrade to 7.3x, based on comments i ve received here...
7.24 UC6 seems to be not very trustable..
i hope bugs at 7.3x be less PANIClike

Depends what is causing the Assert fails, ITS obviously think it's a known
bug, if it is then the upgrade will fix it (maybe), if it's not a known bug
then they are hoping whatever is causing it has gone in 7.30.
You don't provide much information as what is happening when the assert
fails
