In the meantime you might also want to look at the ztools. Particularly zweb is great to make a documentation of your database. It generates a set of html-files that you can use from a web browser and get an excelent overview of your whole database, and cross references on field names common in different tables. They are still in beta test, but I think you can apply for a beta test status.
