Just prior to dish informix, try to use more advanced tools such as php (http://www.php3.org ) , perl. (Both have excellent access to informix and to other databases as well, and the price is the best ( Its is Free!). PS: php supports iis , apache, netscape web servers etc., etc, etc. so you are not tied to Micro$$$$$$oft.
