PowerBuilder connecting Informix

I wonder if you could help me with a problem I've found connecting to a database in a UNIX machine with INFORMIX-SE 7.23 and running the following service: Starting Daemon INFORMIX-SQL Version 7.23.UC1 Command Line = /home/informix/lib/sqlexecd tower5_net -l /home/informix/tower5_net.log INFORMIXDIR = /home/informix dbservername = tower5_net nettype = setlitcp hostname = tower5 servicename = tower5_net options = k=0 On the client machine I use INFORMIX-CLI 2.5. I've also try the 2.8 version but the resul is the same. The PowerBuilder Version I have is the 6.0. So the problem is the following: If I connect PowerBuilder to this service using ODBC: // Profile SID_SE SQLCA.DBMS = "ODBC" SQLCA.AutoCommit = False SQLCA.DBParm = "ConnectString='DSN=sid_se;UID=Informix;PWD=dasse;pro=sesoctcp;db=/appl/sid/ v60/sid;host=tower5;serv=tower5_net',DisableBind=1" The connection is made but an error occurs: "Catalog tables could not be created and are not available for use" The user Informix as dba permission. On the other hand if I try to connect using "IN7 Informix V7.X" driver directly instead of ODBC: // Profile SID_IN7 SQLCA.DBMS = "IN7 INFORMIX-7" SQLCA.Database = "sid" SQLCA.UserId = "informix" SQLCA.DBPass = "*****" SQLCA.ServerName = "@tower5_net" SQLCA.AutoCommit = False SQLCA.DBParm = "INET_DBPATH='/appl/sid/v60',DisableBind=1" the connection is not made and the following error occurs: "SQL error -554: Syntax disallowed on this database server" I hope you can help me with this problem.
