At this full-day technical training event, we will delve into the details of Informix Dynamic 4GL and its new Java client with Jonathan Leffler, noted author, Informix developer and Internet contributor. If you are already familiar with these tools, you will learn new ways to improve their utility. If you are not yet using them, you will leave with a better understanding of whether they are appropriate for your organization and how they might be best used in your environment. The day will feature both presentations and workshop sessions that will cover Dynamic 4GL, Java, Perl, DBI, DBD::Informix, and other topics such as general Informix 4GL programming in a casual seminar format. The event will be held at the new training facility of The Home Depot in Atlanta. Lunch will be provided by Informix. Attendance is free to SEIUG members, and membership in SEIUG is open and free to all. Advance registration is required. Directions to The Home Deport training facility: From the intersection of I-285 and I-75 north of Atlanta, take I-285 west to the first exit which is Paces Ferry Road. Turn right onto Paces Ferry. The entrance to the Home Depot Store Support Center will be visible from there. Turn right onto the road to the Center. Take the next right to go to the visitor parking in front of the buildings.
