I'm assuming that your 4MB log size is for a single log file, not for all of your log space. The data stored into a partition blob space is actually stored in pieces fitting a page at a time, and the entries in the log file will be stored as such. That means that even if the text field being inserted is greater than 4MB it will not hurt as long as it will fit into the total log space. Be aware that you might run into LTXHWM. Now - for what it's worth, have you considered using a blobspace for the text field? Madison Pruet
