oncheck -pe works for this. or
select tabname,
hex(partnum)
from systables;
and you'll get something like the following:
tabname (expression)
systables 0x00100091
syscolumns 0x00100092
sysindexes 0x00100093
systabauth 0x00100094
syscolauth 0x00100095
^^^
then you can decode the first 3 characters of the hex(partnum) into the dbspace
number in your system. you will need to run this for every database in your
instance.....

I'm running Informix 7.1. My database consists of more than 200 tables
spreads out over 20 dbspaces. Given a table, how do I find out what dbspace
that table resided in?
Many thanks for the answer.
