Basic help with dbExport and parameters

I am not an Informix user. I've been contracted to get the data from a proprietary system and migrate to an open SQL Server system. I've been informed (from this usenet group, thank you) that the best way to do this would be to use the dbExport command. After purchasing SAMS Informix Unleashed, I was unable to learn the syntax of this command. Can I get a little help on this command? Thanks. dc@severson.com
