Is BOOLEAN a legacy data type?

The
Informix Migration Guide specifies that onunload and onload will only work
with legacy data types and not any extended data types. The database I am
working with has many boolean data types. Are these classified as LEGACY data
types?

no - Boolean is implemented as a builtin extended type. I haven't tested
with onunload/onload so don't know if they are functional or not.

Can't you test an unload & load?
In the strictest definition, BOOLEAN is not a legacy data type. However,
IIRC, they are stored using a legacy type, or half a legacy type in
terms of a 1 byte INT. I'm not sure that helps you much.
