Hi, Daniele --
The problem you're experiencing is most likely due to the fact that DTS
is actually an OLE DB client application, rather than an ODBC client.
DTS uses the Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC, by default, when
connecting to an ODBC data source. This Provider has a number of
issues with some aspects of the ODBC API, one of which is parameterized
queries.
You may wish to experiment with the OpenLink ODBC Driver for Informix,
and/or the OpenLink OLE DB Provider for ODBC, both of which have been
shown to deliver better results with the DTS tools than the DBMS- or
Windows-included components.
